Required skills:

At least 4 years professional experience in Scala programmer roles with either Akka or Play framework hands-on experience and experience with any functional programming library in Scala.
Fluency in functional programming
Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Experience with HTTP/REST services
Experience with micro-services
Experience in any NoSQL DB and should have knowledge on SQL as well.
Communication and collaboration skills in English

Skills considered a plus:

Experience in using non-blocking IO
Multi-threaded and parallel programming
Experience with Gemfire/Geode or other distributed database or cache
Object-oriented & Functional patterns
Bash shell scripting
