SAP WMS/EWM Consultant

The SAP Warehouse Management System(WMS)/Extended Warehouse Management(EWM) Managing Consultant will be responsible for leading and ensuring the successful delivery of Extended Warehouse Management system module deliverables on SAP engagements. This includes the implementation, upgrade, and extension of existing applications. You will assist clients in the selection, implementation, and support of SAP solutions, encompassing design, configuration, and testing. Your role will involve participation in design activities and gap analysis. Key responsibilities will include configuring the SAP EWM/WMS module, assessing client business problems, and analyzing to solve these issues. In an Implementation Project, you will be responsible for configuring Warehouse Bin Management, MM and SD Module as per the WMS Module requirements, and integrating WMS with MM and SD Modules. Additionally, you will set up Manage Stock at Storage Location, Placement and Removal Strategies, Pick Logic, and Replenishment. You will also need to understand and configure Standard Mobile RF Technology, Storage Unit Management, handling Unit Management, and Yard Management. Other tasks will involve preparing user manuals, providing training to business process owners, Go-live preparation, and post-go-live support. For Support Projects, your duties will include interacting with clients through net meetings, calls, and emails, as well as handling Tickets & Tasks within defined SLAs. You will troubleshoot system issues, execute necessary changes in configuration, and analyze and resolve production support calls. Furthermore, you will raise Change Requests (CRs), write functional specifications for them, prepare test data, test CRs, and conduct regression testing. There will be interaction with other modules consultants, and you will be responsible for preparing test cases, test scenarios, and solution documents, as well as building logic for customized reports based on business scenarios. Your role will require strong blueprint creation skills to support the configuration of business scenarios, evaluating and amalgamating research findings to provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations to clients. Additionally, you should possess expertise in effective search strategies to gather relevant data from various resources such as online databases, the internet, internal databases, and associations.,
