SAP WMS/EWM Consultant

Role Overview: As the SAP Warehouse Management System(WMS)/Extended Warehouse Management(EWM) Managing Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and delivering successful Extended Warehouse Management system module deliverables on SAP engagements. Your role will involve implementation, upgrade, and extension of existing applications. You will assist clients in selecting, implementing, and supporting SAP solutions, including design, configuration, and testing. Your participation in design activities and gap analysis will be crucial in solving client business problems effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Configure Warehouse Bin Management. - Configure MM and SD Module as per Requirement of WMS Module. - Integrate WMS with MM and SD Modules. - Set up Manage Stock at Storage Location. - Establish Placement and Removal Strategies. - Define Pick Logic. - Implement Replenishment processes. - Understand and utilize Standard Mobile RF Technology. - Configure Storage Unit Management. - Configure handling Unit Management. - Configure Yard Management. - Prepare user manuals and provide training to business process owners. - Prepare for go-live and offer post-go-live support. - Interact with clients through net meetings, calls, and emails. - Handle Tickets & Tasks and ensure closure within defined SLAs. - Troubleshoot system issues and provide support. - Implement necessary changes in configuration. - Analyze and resolve production support calls. - Raise Change Requests (CRs) and write functional specifications for them. - Prepare test data for testing CRs. - Test CRs and prepare test results. - Conduct regression testing. - Collaborate with other module consultants. - Develop test cases, test scenarios, and solution documents for issues. - Build logic for customized reports based on business scenarios. - Create blueprints supporting the configuration of business scenarios. - Evaluate research findings to provide strategic recommendations. - Demonstrate expertise in search strategies using various resources. Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of SAP EWM/WMS module configuration. - Experience in implementing SAP solutions. - Proficiency in problem-solving and analysis. - Ability to communicate effectively with clients. - Skill in preparing test cases and test scenarios. - Knowledge of building customized reports. - Understanding of warehouse management processes. - Familiarity with MM and SD Modules integration. - Experience in go-live preparation and post-go-live support. - Ability to work collaboratively with other consultants. - Strong blueprint creation skills. - Proficiency in regression testing and troubleshooting. - Excellent communication and presentation skills.,
