Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced

SAP Panaya Automation Tester

to join our testing competency at

EY GDS

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with

Panaya automation

, and a sound understanding of

SAP testing processes, modules, and defect management

. The resource should also be capable of

leading a small team (2-3 testers)

to ensure high-quality delivery across transformation initiatives.

Key

Design, develop, and execute
automated test scripts
using
Panaya
for SAP environments.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to
analyze business processes
and identify automation opportunities.
Lead and mentor a team of
2-3 automation testers,
ensuring adherence to testing standards and timelines.
Participate in
test planning, test data preparation, and test execution
phases for SAP projects (ECC, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, etc.).
Ensure comprehensive
test coverage
across SAP modules such as
OTC, PTP, RTR, and EWM
(as applicable).
Manage and track
defects
through tools such as
JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps,
etc ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
Generate and review
test reports
, automation metrics, and defect status reports.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure
continuous improvement
in testing efficiency and automation coverage.
Contribute to
process optimization
initiatives and share best practices in SAP automation testing.

Required Skills and Experience

4-5 years of hands-on experience in Panaya Automation
Strong understanding of
SAP end-to-end business processes
and functional knowledge of multiple modules (preferably OTC, PTP, RTR, or EWM).
Experience in
test case design, execution, regression testing
, and
impact analysis
using Panaya.
Proficiency in
defect lifecycle management
using JIRA/HP ALM/Azure DevOps.
Exposure to
change impact analysis
and
automation maintenance
within SAP environments.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to
lead and guide small teams
to deliver high-quality test automation outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in
SAP Testing, ISTQB
, or
Panaya Automation
(if available).
Experience in
Agile testing environments
and familiarity with
DevOps
practices.
Prior experience working in
large-scale transformation
or
SAP upgrade/migration
projects.
