SAP System Migration Specialist

Location:

Pune (Hybrid)

Experience Required:

4 to 9 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for an SAP System Migration Specialist with hands-on experience in migrating SAP systems, including HANA and S/4HANA, to hyperscaler cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in HADR, SAP architecture, and cloud-based infrastructure (GCP preferred).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP migrations to hyperscaler environments (GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • Analyze source systems and recommend target state architectures
  • Execute migrations with minimal downtime using industry best practices
  • Implement HA/DR strategies for SAP HANA and application servers
  • Collaborate with cloud and SAP Basis teams for infrastructure readiness and validation

Must-Have Skills

  • Proven experience in SAP system migrations (ECC, S/4HANA) to cloud
  • Deep expertise in HANA database migration and administration
  • Strong understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HADR)
  • Familiarity with GCP infrastructure and network configurations for SAP workloads

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in SAP DMO with System Move and SUM tools
  • Understanding of cloud-native tooling for SAP automation and monitoring

Soft Skills

  • Strong planning and documentation abilities
  • Able to troubleshoot complex technical migration challenges
  • Collaborative and customer-oriented approach
