Job Description

Mandatory Skills:

ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData Services

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design and development of custom ABAP code, enhancements, user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, etc.
Develop HANA-native solutions: CDS Views, AMDPs, table functions, calculation views.
Build and expose OData / REST services for UI (Fiori / UI5) and external system integrations.
Participate in full lifecycle implementation: technical blueprint, development, testing, deployment, post-go-live support.
Optimize performance: tune ABAP code, HANA database, reduce data volume, improve response time.
Implement extension / enhancement strategies for standard S/4HANA functionality.
Support data migration, conversions, cleanup, using tools & custom programs.
Collaborate with Solution Architects and functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Perform code reviews, ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
Assist with system upgrades, patching, version migrations.
Provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
