SAP Retail Consultant

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze client business processes and requirements and map them to SAP Retail solutions.
  
• Configure SAP IS-Retail modules including MM, SD, and F&R as per the project needs.
  
• Support implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects from offshore.
  
• Work closely with onsite functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist users with UAT.
  
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments.
  
• Provide L2/L3 support and resolve incidents and service requests within SLA.
  
• Create and maintain documentation for configuration, customizations, and training.
  
• Stay updated with the latest SAP Retail trends and best practices.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of

  SAP IS-Retail

  architecture and functionalities.
• Experience in one or more SAP Retail modules:

  MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), F&R (Forecasting & Replenishment), Pricing, Master Data

  .
• Solid understanding of retail business processes: Assortment planning, Merchandise Category Management, Promotions, Article Master.
  
• Experience working in

  offshore delivery models

  .
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  
• Experience with

  integration to POS, eCommerce platforms, or SAP CAR

  is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  
• SAP certification in Retail or relevant modules is an advantage.
  
• Experience with

  S/4HANA Retail for Merchandise Management

  is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with tools like

  Solution Manager, JIRA, ServiceNow

  , etc.
