Sap PP QM Consultant

Key Responsibilities (JD)

1. Configure master data elements such as materials bills of materials (BOMs), routings, work centers, production versions.
2. Define materials, components, production locations, process steps, and production alternatives for manufacturing planning and execution.
3. Configure master data elements such as Inspection Plans, Quality Info Records, Sampling Procedures, Catalogs, Inspection Lots.
4. Manage quality inspection processes, sampling, defect codes, and quality notifications integrated with production and procurement
5. Configure master data elements such as Equipment Master, Functional Locations, Maintenance Plans, Task Lists, Work Centers and transactional processes (notifications, work orders, confirmations, settlement)
6. Manage assets, maintenance scheduling, standard procedures, and responsible units for plant maintenance activities.
7. Implement and optimize production planning processes including demand management, material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, and shop floor control.
8. Should have clear understanding of SAP PP, QM and PM with other modules such as Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD).
9. Support system testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing) and coordinate issue resolution.
10. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to client teams.
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical consultants and business stakeholders.
12. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client communications effectively and stay updated with SAP S/4HANA latest features, industry trends, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

1. Prefer Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering.
2. At least 3-5 years of hands-on SAP PP , QM and PM Module within manufacturing environments, preferably with SAP S/4HANA.
3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Willingness to travel to Plants as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with manufacturing industries.
• Key Skills of SAP PP, QM and PM integration with Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM).
• Exposure to SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) is a plus.
