Job Description

Job Title: Purchase Engineer Location : Delhi Corporate Office Department : Engineering / Purchase / Vendor Development Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and skilled Engineer to join our team, focusing on vendor development, costing, and engineering support . The candidate will be responsible for developing suppliers, analyzing 2D/3D drawings, raising RFQs, and finalizing manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage relationships with new and existing vendors/suppliers . Analyze 2D & 3D engineering drawings for manufacturing feasibility. Handle costing and nesting for components and assemblies. Raise RFQs (Request for Quotations) to suppliers and evaluate offers. Negotiate with suppliers on cost, delivery, and quality . Finalize FTG (Fixtures, Tools, Gauges) processes with internal and supplier teams. Use SAP for activities like PO (Purchase Order) creation and tracking. Work on MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reports and presentations. Use AutoCAD, NX, and SolidWorks for drawing review and support to design/manufacturing. Key Skills Required: Vendor Development Costing & Nesting 2D/3D Drawing Analysis Supplier Negotiation SAP (Purchase and Tooling Modules) RFQ and PO Management AutoCAD, NX, SolidWorks MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering 24 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or automotive domain Strong communication and coordination skills
