SAP MM Lead

The role supports the Business Excellence Lead in implementing, monitoring, and documenting the status of various improvement initiatives within the Business Unit (BU) or sub-unit. The key accountabilities include defining the annual plan for the Business Excellence function, executing studies to identify improvement opportunities, documenting excellence activities, planning and implementing process audits, and following Sterlite's values while practicing continual improvement. The ideal candidate should have 2-6 years of engineering experience and a strong understanding of Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies. Skills required for the role include expertise in SAP MM, facilitating the implementation and support of SAP MM, performing detailed analysis of complex business process requirements, conducting workshops to collect business requirements, customizing and configuring MM modules, identifying system gaps and proposing solutions, providing consulting services for new implementations and support projects, and acting as a liaison between business functions and technical teams. Moreover, the candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in full-cycle implementation and support projects, designing and configuring MM modules, knowledge and experience of Ariba and SAP MM interfaces, multitasking abilities, customer-centric business process understanding, teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently. The role also involves tracking development hours, prioritizing tasks, raising service requests to SAP for Ariba issues, collaborating with support teams for new developments and changes in Ariba, and resolving issues with support vendors.
