SAP Material Management

As an SAP MM Consultant, your role involves facilitating the implementation and support of the SAP MM team in the Procurement process to meet business requirements. You will be responsible for developing the Purchase Module (MM), including testing and training, with knowledge of BRDs and FSDs as per process requirements. It is essential to have a complete understanding of Supply Chain processes, including Direct/Indirect purchase and Sales. Additionally, you will provide technical support to the SMG team. You are required to be part of the post go-live support team for the SMG Plant. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, warehousing, and finance, is necessary to understand business requirements and align and integrate SAP MM with other SAP modules and external systems. Your responsibilities also include developing and implementing SAP MM strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance procurement efficiency, inventory control, and vendor management. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in procurement management is crucial. You will be responsible for documenting BRD, UAT test cases, scripts, and results. Proactively identifying and proposing business process and/or system enhancements is a key aspect of your role. Active participation in testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), is required. Conducting training sessions and workshops to educate end-users on SAP MM functionality and best practices is also part of your responsibilities.
