SAP Master Data Management Manager / Sr. Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Master Data Governance & Quality

• Oversee creation, validation, and maintenance of master data (Material, Vendor, Customer, BOM, Routing, Cost Centers, GL, Asset Master, etc.) across SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, FICO, PM).
  
• Establish data governance standards, policies, and procedures for effective control and integrity.
  
• Drive master data quality initiatives ensuring accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance.
  
• Perform regular data audits and health checks; lead cleansing and enrichment initiatives.
  

Stakeholder & Process Management

• Collaborate cross-functionally with SCM, Finance, Sales, Production, and Maintenance teams to understand master data needs and resolve data issues.
  
• Act as the custodian of centralized master data change requests.
  
• Ensure timely processing and SLAs are met for master data creation/modification/deletion.
  

SAP System & Tools Handling

• Utilize SAP MDG (Master Data Governance), LSMW, BODS, Winshuttle, or equivalent tools to manage large-scale data processes.
  
• Coordinate with SAP functional & technical teams for process automation, enhancement, and master data workflow development.
  
• Support during SAP audits, rollouts, and version upgrades, ensuring master data migration and integrity.
  

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements.
  
• Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training manuals for Master Data processes.
  

Key Requirements:

• Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Commerce / IT; SAP Certification preferred.
  

• Experience:

  Minimum 10 years of SAP MDM experience, ideally in a Cement or Process Manufacturing industry.
  
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules: MM, SD, FICO, PP, PM.
  
• Experience with SAP MDG / SAP S/4HANA preferred.
  
• Proven track record in managing centralized master data governance frameworks.
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
