SAP Manufacturing & MES Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the overall SAP strategy and roadmap for S/4HANA (FI/CO, MM/PP, SD) and SAP DMC.
• Collaborate with SAP implementation partners to vet and influence solution architectures, ensuring best practices and minimal customization in a greenfield context.
• Lead the design and integration of SAP DMC for seamless shop floor-to-ERP data flow and manufacturing execution.
• Establish and enforce SAP/DMC governance frameworks, master data management, and security policies.
• Oversee all phases of SAP/DMC project implementation, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and data migration.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex SAP/DMC issues, ensuring system performance and stability.
• Manage key relationships with SAP, implementation partners, and third-party service providers to ensure alignment with business objectives and delivery excellence.

Key Skills

• Deep functional SAP S/4HANA expertise (e.g., FI/CO, MM/PP, SD); strong understanding of SuccessFactors EC/ECP and SAP DMC.
• Ability to design integrated SAP landscapes, define governance, and influence complex solution architectures.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor oversight skills.
• Proven experience with manufacturing business processes and IT/OT integration.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change in a complex manufacturing environment.

Qualification:

Bachelors or master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Mandatory Skills/ Certification:

SAP S/4HANA Certification (core module), or SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud.

Required Experience:

• 8-12 years in SAP ERP implementations/support, 3-4 years focusing on S/4HANA.
• Proven experience implementing/integrating Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ideally SAP DMC/ME/MII.
• Success in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations (greenfield preferred).
• Experience leading and managing SAP System Integrators.
