Role Objective

in-house process owner and business anchor

bridge between business teams and the SAP implementation partner

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Ownership & Standardization

• Own end-to-end business processes for

  Finance, Procurement, Sales, Land, and Project Execution

  as they relate to SAP modules (FICO, MM, PS, SD, REFX).
• Document existing workflows, identify redundancies, and define standardized procedures aligned with SAP capabilities.
• Ensure that all plotted development processes from

  land acquisition to project closure

  — are seamlessly integrated in SAP.

2. Implementation Coordination

• Collaborate closely with external SAP consultants to define system requirements, validate configurations, and manage customizations.
• Lead

  User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  , ensure test scenarios cover real-world business cases, and approve functional sign-offs.
• Coordinate

  data preparation and migration

  , ensuring integrity of master data (plots, vendors, customers, costs).
• Support Go-Live activities, parallel runs, and process stabilization.

3. Business–IT Liaison

• Act as the

  primary contact between business functions and SAP implementation partner

  .
• Translate business needs into SAP functional requirements and ensure alignment with process objectives.
• Escalate and track issue resolution with IT / vendors within defined SLAs.

4. Change Management & User Adoption

• Drive

  training and user onboarding

  across Finance, Projects, Sales, and Procurement teams.
• Develop SOPs, user manuals, and quick-reference guides for business users.
• Monitor adoption, troubleshoot functional issues, and ensure continuous process adherence.
• Lead periodic process reviews and identify improvement opportunities.

5. Post-Implementation Governance

• Maintain ongoing ownership of SAP processes and ensure data discipline.
• Support

  periodic audits, reconciliations, and system validations

  .
• Evaluate and implement upgrades, add-ons, and enhancements in collaboration with the IT team.
• Track system performance metrics and recommend corrective measures.

Key Competencies & Skills

• Strong understanding of

  real estate / plotted development processes

  (land acquisition, plotting, sales, collections, development cost tracking).
• Familiarity with SAP modules:

  FICO, MM, PS, SD, and REFX

  .
• Proven capability in

  process documentation, testing, and user training

  .
• High business acumen with a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment between operations, finance, and IT.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in Commerce / Engineering / IT

  MBA or SAP functional certification

  preferred.

• 8–12 years

  of experience, with at least

  3–5 years in ERP or SAP process ownership or transformation roles

  .
• Prior experience in

  real estate / infrastructure / construction industry

  is essential.
• Exposure to at least one full-cycle ERP or SAP implementation preferred.

• Reduction in manual and Excel-based operations.
• Accuracy and reliability of system-generated reports.
• User adoption and process compliance levels.
• Speed and quality of issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
