Core SAP ABAP Skills & Responsibilities
1. Programming Skills
  • Proficient in Reports: Classical, Interactive, ALV (List & Grid).
  • Expertise in Module Pool Programming (Dialog Programming).
  • Good knowledge of Forms: SAP Script and Smart Forms.
  • Ability to create and modify Function Modules and User Exits.
2. Data Dictionary
  • Strong knowledge of creating and maintaining:
    • Tables
    • Structures
    • Views
    • Data Elements
    • Domains
    • Search Helps
    • Lock Objects
3. Performance Optimization
  • Use of runtime analysis (SE30) and SQL trace (ST05).
  • Internal table optimization using proper types, keys, and buffering techniques.
4. Modularization Techniques

    • Methods/Classes (OOP in ABAP)
5. BDC and LSMW
  • Batch Data Communication (BDC) using Call Transaction & Session methods.
