SAP HANA Basis Administrator

Description

Mandatory Skills (Must-Have) :

• SAP HANA Basis : Strong hands-on experience in SAP HANA database administration and Basis operations.
• S/4HANA Experience : Minimum 2-3 E2E hands-on experience with S/4HANA systems implementations.
• Total SAP Basis Exp : 7-9 years overall as an SAP Basis consultant.
• AMS Support : Proven experience in AMS (Application Management Services) support activities.
  

Good-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

• Experience in SAP system migration/upgrade to S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP cloud solutions (BTP, Azure, AWS).
• Experience with SAP performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• SAP certification in HANA/Basis.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SAP HANA database administration monitoring, backups, recovery, performance tuning.
• Manage S/4HANA systems installation, upgrades, patches, and system refreshes.
• Handle day-to-day AMS support activities incident management, problem resolution, change management.
• Conduct system copies, client copies, and transport management.
• Implement security patches, kernel upgrades, and support stack updates.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure system availability and performance.
• Provide on-call support as needed for critical issues
