SAP GTS Senior Analyst

As an experienced SAP GTS Analyst at Westcon Group, your primary role will involve the end-to-end design, configuration, implementation, and support of the SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) module. You will be the functional and technical expert, bridging the gap between business stakeholders in Global Trade, Logistics, and IT to optimize global trade processes, ensure compliance, and facilitate the smooth flow of goods across borders. Key Responsibilities and Technical Expertise: - GTS Compliance Management: - Possess expert configuration knowledge of Sanctioned Party List (SPL) functionality, control settings, and variables. - Hands-on experience with external list management, including Descartes XML load automation. - Ability to configure delta screening, lead full database rescreening projects, and set up Embargo screening based on legal regulations. - Expertise in Legal Control setup, including License Determination Strategy and configuration of license types. - Strong understanding of US re-export rules and familiarity with commercial invoices and HTS update loads. - SAP Integration and Support: - Execute end-to-end test scripts independently and extensive knowledge of key data tables in GTS and ECC. - Manage archiving projects, particularly for SPL audit trails. - Project and General Skills: - Create clear, detailed functional specifications for business descriptions and technical requirements. - Possess a structured approach, attention to detail, and effective communication skills in English. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP experience. - Experience with SAP GTS 11 and SAP S/4HANA. - Involvement in the migration of SAP GTS to SAP S/4HANA. - Experience supporting global implementations across multiple regions. Desired Experience: - Previous experience with a wholesale company or distributor. - Experience with electronic communication with customs and customs brokers.
