Role & responsibilities

• Act as the SME for the SAP GTS module: compliance management (embargo, sanctions, export controls), customs management (import/export declarations, bonded warehousing), trade preference & risk management. Accenture+2Instahyre+2
  
• Understand and translate business processes (trade, customs, global shipping, import/export) into system design and configuration in GTS. AbbVie+1
  
• Configure SAP GTS modules: define rules, set up screening, integrate with other modules (SD, MM, FI/CO), implement customs interface with external systems/brokers. Accenture+1
  
• Participate across the project life-cycle: gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, design solutions, configuration, testing, deployment, and support. Instahyre+1
  
• Provide support (incident/change) for GTS, monitor system health, guide business users, and handle enhancements or integration issues. Sopra Steria
  
• (Nice to have) Contribute to proposals, lead solutioning, work on S/4HANA migrations or global roll-outs. Accenture+1
  

Skills & Technical Requirements

• Hands-on experience in SAP GTS configuration and implementation (Compliance, Customs, Trade Preference) in an SAP ECC or S/4HANA environment. Sopra Steria+1
  
• Good functional knowledge of other SAP modules: SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), FI/CO, and how they integrate with GTS. Accenture
  
• Understanding of global trade compliance, import/export regulations, customs processes, trade documents, bonded warehouse concepts, sanction screening. AbbVie
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills ability to engage business users, translate requirements, work across teams and geographies. Accenture
  
• Ability to work in projects: implementation, support, roll-out or migration scenarios.
  
• (Optional but beneficial) Experience with S/4HANA, GTS Edition for S/4HANA, integration tools (IDoc, RFC, middleware), and global roll-outs. Accenture
