Job Description

Job Title:

SAP GBT Consultant

Experience:

7 - 12 Years

Location:

Pune

We are looking for an experienced

SAP GBT (Global Batch Traceability) Consultant

with strong expertise in implementing and configuring SAP GBT solutions. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of

traceability, compliance, and integration

with related SAP modules such as

ERP, EWM, and QM

The role involves end-to-end implementation, process design, and post-go-live support to ensure full traceability and regulatory compliance within the organization s supply chain and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the
implementation and configuration
of the
SAP GBT module
to meet business and regulatory requirements.
Design and build
traceability processes
that align with quality, compliance, and industry standards.
Integrate
SAP GBT
with other modules such as
SAP ERP, SAP EWM, and SAP QM
.
Conduct
requirement analysis
and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
Support
data mapping, interface design
, and
end-to-end testing
of traceability processes.
Provide
training and knowledge transfer
to key users and project stakeholders.
Offer
post-implementation support
for issue resolution and performance optimization.
Analyze
traceability data
to support
audits, product recalls, and process improvements
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operation and data accuracy.

Technical Skills:

Strong experience in
SAP GBT configuration and integration
.
Good understanding of
batch management, serialization, and supply chain traceability
concepts.
Hands-on experience with
SAP ERP
,
SAP EWM
, and
SAP QM
integration.
Familiarity with
regulatory traceability standards
(e.g., pharma, food, or manufacturing industries).
Experience with
data extraction, analysis, and reporting
for audit and compliance purposes.

Good to Have:

Exposure to
SAP S/4HANA
environment.
Experience in
process manufacturing
or
life sciences
domain.
Basic knowledge of
SAP GBT architecture and technical components
.
