Role Overview

SAP FICO Consultant Public Cloud

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support

  SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (FICO)

  implementation projects.
• Configure and manage

  Finance (FI)

  and

  Controlling (CO)

  modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Management, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
• Work on SAP Public Cloud

  Business Processes, Best Practices

  , and

  Fit-to-Standard

  workshops.
• Perform gap analysis, define functional specifications, and work closely with technical teams for enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with SAP Public Cloud

  Standard Processes

  ,

  Configuration Restrictions

  , and Cloud Release Cycles.
• Handle

  Data Migration

  using migration cockpit and cloud tools.
• Support integration with other modules such as MM, SD, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and external systems.
• Provide L1, L2 & L3 support for FICO modules; analyze and resolve incidents.
• Work with stakeholders for UAT, testing scenarios, documentation, and end-user training.
• Monitor quarterly SAP Public Cloud upgrades and manage testing and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong functional knowledge of

  SAP FICO

  with proven experience in

  SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (Essentials Edition)

  .
• Hands-on experience in Fit-to-Standard analysis and handling standard cloud configurations.
• Good understanding of

  Statutory compliance

  ,

  Taxation

  , and localization for India (GST, TDS, TCS).
• Experience in

  Finance master data

  , workflow approvals, and versioning in Public Cloud.
• Knowledge of integration scenarios: API-based, SAP Cloud Integration (SCI/CPI).
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder and user communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Certification in

  SAP S/4HANA Finance

  or

  SAP Public Cloud

  .
• Experience with

  SAP Activate methodology

  .

Exposure to multi-country Public Cloud deployments
