Description
In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with business stakeholders to understand the company's financial and controlling requirements and translating them into SAP functionality. Your key responsibilities will include: - Setting up SAP systems to align with the company's accounting structure and business processes, including configuration of financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO) modules. - Tailoring the system to the organization's specific needs, creating reports, developing custom solutions, and performing testing to ensure the system works as required. - Ensuring smooth integration of SAP FICO with other modules like SAP MM, SD, and PP, as well as with external systems. - Providing training to end-users on how to use SAP for their accounting processes and offering ongoing support to resolve any issues. - Identifying, analysing, and resolving issues or bugs in the SAP FICO system, as well as implementing necessary patches or updates. - Documenting the configuration, customizations, and processes specific to the company's implementation, as well as providing manuals for users. - Managing updates and system upgrades to ensure that the SAP FICO system stays aligned with business needs and regulatory changes. - Assisting with generating financial statements, management reports, and balance sheets to ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations. - Collaborating closely with other SAP consultants and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support for overall business goals.
