Sap Fico Consultant

Role & responsibilities

1. Lead and participate in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) module implementations, ensuring comprehensivealignment with client business requirements and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

2.Analyze, design, and configure SAP FICO processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, AccountsReceivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling, to optimize financial operations for clients.

3.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed requirements, document business processes, and provideexpert recommendations for process enhancements and automation.

4.Manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations, including scoping, blueprinting, realization, testing,deployment, and hypercare support, while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.

5.Design and develop RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects incoordination with technical teams, ensuring seamless integration within the SAP landscape.

6.Conduct client workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to ensure end users are proficient in SAPFICO functionalities and process changes.

7.Provide expert post-go-live support, troubleshooting issues, and applying best-in-class problem-solving techniquesfor process improvements and user adoption.

8.Maintain effective client-facing consulting by communicating progress, managing expectations, and buildingstrong professional relationships to facilitate successful project delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

1.SAP S/4HANA Finance FICO

Candidates must possess 4-9 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANAFinance FICO modules, including deep expertise in configuration, customization, and integration of financialaccounting and controlling processes. A strong understanding of the end-to-end process flows, period-endactivities, and new functionalities within S/4HANA is mandatory. Experience should cover core modules such asGL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center, Profit Center, and Internal Orders, ensuring the ability to deliverrobust solutions tailored to client needs.

2.Configuration

Demonstrated ability to independently manage and execute complex SAP FICO configurations isrequired. The role expects comprehensive knowledge in customizing organizational structures, chart of accounts,financial statement versions, and controlling area settings. Candidates should also be adept at configuring taxprocedures, automatic postings, and integration settings, as well as troubleshooting configuration issues duringimplementation and support phases.

3.SAP S/4HANA End-to-End Implementation

Proven expertise in leading or participating in multiple SAPS/4HANA FICO end-to-end implementation projects, from blueprinting to go-live and post-production support.The candidate must have a clear track record of managing project deliverables, conducting user workshops,performing system testing, and ensuring successful change management across various project stages. Familiaritywith agile methodologies and project documentation is a plus.

4.RICEFW

A minimum of 4 years of experience in managing RICEFW objects within SAP projects is essential.The role requires proficiency in defining functional specifications, working with technical teams on development,and validating the quality of custom reports, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.Candidates should be comfortable in providing detailed documentation and ensuring all RICEFW components arealigned with business and regulatory requirements.

5.Client-facing Consulting

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in client-facing consulting roles,demonstrating strong communication and stakeholder management skills. This includes the ability to translatecomplex technical solutions into business terms, manage client expectations, lead workshops, and provide advisoryservices. The role demands a proactive approach in identifying opportunities for process improvement andfostering long-term client relationships built on trust and expertise

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or arelated discipline from a recognized institution.

2. 4 to 9 years of professional experience in SAP FICO consulting, including at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANAimplementation.

3.Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance standards.

4.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proven ability to work in client-facing environments.

5.SAP certification in FICO or S/4HANA Finance modules is advantageous.
