Job Description

SAP FI Consultant

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant to support our financial systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) modules and a solid understanding of business processes in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and support SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, etc.)
Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Configure SAP FI settings and perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CO, MM, SD, HR) for integrated solutions.
Provide end-user training and documentation.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI-related issues.
Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, and enhancement projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
3-8 years of experience in SAP FI implementation and support.
Strong knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.
Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules (CO, MM, SD).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP FI Certification.
Experience in S/4HANA migration projects.
Exposure to FICO sub-modules like New GL, Taxation, and Electronic Bank Statement (EBS).
Knowledge of Indian GST and statutory compliance.
