SAP Engagement Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engagement Director with a strong background in SAP FICO or SAP SD, who has proven leadership in managing large-scale teams (300+ resources) and driving end-to-end SAP implementations. This individual will be responsible for overseeing strategic engagements, building strong relationships with business stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex SAP programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale SAP engagements with a focus on either FICO or SD modules.
• Oversee project delivery from inception to go-live, including planning, execution, and governance.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the SAP delivery team.
• Drive client engagement, expectation management, and ensure satisfaction across all touchpoints.
• Manage and mentor large teams (300+ resources), including onsite, offshore, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide strategic input and guidance on business process improvements leveraging SAP best practices.
• Ensure project milestones, budgets, and deliverables are met with a focus on quality and timeliness.
• Collaborate with sales/pre-sales teams to support proposals and scope definition for new opportunities.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in SAP & 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership or engagement management role.
• Proven track record of leading large teams (300+ members) in global delivery models.
• Strong knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies and project lifecycles.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with C-level executives and business leaders.
• PMP, SAP Certification, or equivalent is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in consulting environments or managing multi-country SAP rollouts.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and client engagements.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
