SAP Developer

You are an experienced and passionate SAP FIORI Developer looking to join a team in Chennai, India. With 5 to 8 years of experience, you have strong expertise in SAPUI5 and FIORI application development. Your understanding of SAP frontend technologies, OData integration, and Fiori Launchpad configuration will be essential in designing and developing cutting-edge applications aligned with business goals. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining custom and standard SAP FIORI applications using SAP Web IDE and BAS. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Developing UI5 Freestyle applications with responsive and intuitive user interfaces will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will perform unit testing, bug fixing, and ensure optimal performance of FIORI applications. Configuring and managing SAP FIORI Launchpad, Elements, and CDS views, as well as integrating frontend applications with SAP backend systems via OData services, will also be part of your responsibilities. Creating and maintaining technical documentation and user guides, while keeping up-to-date with the latest SAP FIORI best practices and emerging technologies, will be crucial. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, a Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Doctorate with a relevant academic background. You must have a minimum of 5 years of SAP Frontend Development experience, particularly in SAPUI5/FIORI. Proficiency in SAPUI5 controls, components, routing, and data binding mechanisms is required. Hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE, SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), UI5 Freestyle applications, OData services, SAP FIORI Launchpad configuration, Fiori Elements, CDS views, and working knowledge of SAP ABAP for backend integration is essential. Strong front-end skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, basic knowledge of JQuery, and responsive layout design are also necessary. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, strong work ethics, and the ability to work independently are key qualities for this role. It would be advantageous if you have experience with SAP BTP tools such as SAP Build, SAP Build Process Automation, and SAP Workzone, as well as familiarity with SAP BTP frameworks like CAP (Cloud Application Programming) or RAP (Restful ABAP Programming).
