Role Description

This is a contract, remote role for a SAP BW HANA Architect. The SAP BW HANA Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing SAP BW on HANA architectures, managing data integration tasks, providing consulting services, and ensuring the alignment of business processes with technical solutions. The role requires close collaboration with clients to identify and address their data needs and optimize their SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of SAP BW/4HANA solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Implement data modelling, ETL, and reporting strategies.
• Integrate BW/4HANA with SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Optimize data performance, queries, and system efficiency.
• Guide and mentor development teams on SAP best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years in BW/4HANA

✅ Strong knowledge of SAP HANA modelling, SQL, and performance optimization.

✅ Experience with SAP Analytics tools (SAC, BO, etc.).

✅ Expertise in data integration (SLT, BODS, SDI, etc.).

✅ Strong communication and client-facing skills.

✅ Ability to work independently as an architect and provide technical leadership.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to S/4HANA, Embedded Analytics.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) in data warehousing solutions.
