Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW models and queries (7.x or BW/4HANA), including InfoProviders, DSO/ADSO, CompositeProviders, and BEx reports.
  
• Build and maintain

  Azure-based data pipelines

  using Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, and SQL-based transformations.
• Integrate and synchronize data between

  SAP BW and Azure

  platforms for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with functional teams and BI analysts to align SAP structures with modern reporting needs.
  
• Support migration/replication of SAP BW data into

  Azure Data Lake

  or

  Azure Synapse

  .
• Ensure

  data governance, quality, and consistency

  across all platforms.
• Contribute to achieving a “single version of the truth” across enterprise data systems.
  

Minimum Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in

  SAP BW

  (InfoProviders, extractors, BEx query design).
• Hands-on experience with

  Azure Synapse Analytics

  and

  Azure Data Factory

  (pipelines, datasets, transformations).
• Understanding of SAP data extraction via

  ODP

  ,

  CDS Views

  , or flat-file integrations into Azure.
• Basic to intermediate exposure to

  Azure Databricks

  .
• Experience with data visualization tools like

  Power BI

  or

  Tableau

  .
• Strong skills in

  data modeling, ETL/ELT workflows

  , and SQL development.
• Ability to work across SAP and cloud-based data environments.
  
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and documentation skills.
  
• Experience working in

  Agile (SCRUM)

  environments.
• Excellent English communication skills (Advanced level).
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with

  SAP BW/4HANA

  or

  SAP HANA modeling

• Knowledge of

  CI/CD

  , Git, and DevOps workflows for data solutions.
• Understanding of hybrid

  data architecture best practices

• Azure data certification (e.g.,

  ) or SAP BW certification.
• Familiarity with
