SAP Business One (SAP B1) Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in

  end-to-end SAP Business One implementations

  , including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
• Conduct

  business process analysis

  and map client requirements to SAP B1 functionalities.
• Configure SAP B1 modules such as

  Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Production, and Service Management

  according to client needs.
• Create and maintain

  functional specifications

  for system enhancements, customizations, and integrations.
• Collaborate with

  technical teams

  (developers, database administrators, and system integrators) to design and implement solutions.
• Conduct

  user acceptance testing (UAT)

  and coordinate issue resolution.
• Provide

  end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support

  .
• Assist in

  data migration activities

  , including data mapping, cleansing, and validation.
• Ensure projects are delivered

  on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals

  .
• Stay up to date with the latest

  SAP B1 features, patches, and industry best practices

  .

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in

  Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or Business Administration

  (or related field).

• 34 years of experience

  in SAP Business One implementation or support.
• Strong functional knowledge of

  core SAP B1 modules

  (Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Production, MRP, CRM, etc.).
• Experience in

  project management

  or working with

  implementation methodologies

  (e.g., ASAP, Agile).
• Familiarity with

  Crystal Reports

  ,

  SQL queries

  , and

  SAP B1 SDK

  (an advantage).
• Excellent

  analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  .
• Ability to

  train users

  and

  document processes

  clearly.
• SAP Business One

  certification

  preferred but not mandatory.

Optional (Preferred Experience):

• Experience with

  add-ons

  (Boyum, Core Suite, or industry-specific extensions).
• Knowledge of

  integration tools

  (DI API, Service Layer, B1iF).
• Prior experience in

  manufacturing, distribution, or retail sectors

  .
• Exposure to

  cloud or HANA-based SAP B1 environments

  .

Work Environment:

• On-site (depending on project requirements) and Pune Head office.
• May require occasional

  client travel

  for workshops, go-live support, or training sessions.
