Roles and Responsibilities

Core Integration Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and deploy integration scenarios using

  SAP BTP Integration Suite

  ,

  SAP CPI

  , and

  SAP PO/PI

  .
• Lead and participate in at least

  one end-to-end migration project

  from

  SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI

  .
• Develop integration flows of

  low, medium, and high complexity

  , ensuring efficiency, quality, and performance.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve integration issues, ensuring continuous and smooth operation of CPI interfaces.
  

Design & Development

• Work closely with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
  
• Build reusable components, adaptors, and frameworks following

  SAP CPI best practices

  .
• Ensure compliance with integration architecture principles and SAP-recommended standards.
  

Documentation & Maintenance

• Create and maintain

  technical design documents

  , mapping sheets, and deployment instructions.
• Support code reviews, quality checks, and knowledge sharing with team members.
  
• Maintain proper version control and configuration management practices.
  

Security & Compliance

• Ensure that all integration flows adhere to

  security standards

  , including authentication, authorization, encryption, and audit requirements.
• Work with security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise and SAP security guidelines.
  

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to deliver integration solutions.
  
• Assist with

  data migration tasks

  , ensuring accurate and secure data transfers across systems.
• Be adaptable to evolving business requirements, new technologies, and emerging integration patterns.
  

Leadership & Communication

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  
• Lead technical discussions and participate in customer-facing meetings.
  
• Demonstrate excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred/Additional Skills

• Experience with

  B2B/EDI integrations

  (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, AS2, etc.).
• Knowledge of API Management, Event Mesh, Cloud Integration Automation, or related SAP BTP services.
  
• Understanding of integration protocols (SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP, JDBC, OData, etc.).
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and integration with third-party systems.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
  

• 8+ years

  of experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP CPI, and SAP PO/PI.

• 10+ years

  overall experience in SAP PO/PI and CPI combined.
• Proven experience in end-to-end integration lifecycle management.
