Roles and Responsibilities:

As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to:

Actively support various phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment.
Explore and evaluate alternative solutions through research, literature surveys, and vendor information; build Proof of Concepts (POCs).
Create requirement specifications based on business needs and define to-be processes and detailed functional designs.
Configure solution requirements, diagnose issues, seek clarifications, and identify solution alternatives.
Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-adding solutions to clients.

Technical Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
Proficient in monitoring and maintaining SAP environments (Sandbox, Development, QA, Production, DR).
Skilled in installation, configuration, and support of multiple SAP landscapes and third-party tools.
Hands-on experience with core Basis functions such as system refresh, support packs, kernel upgrades, transport management, and DR drills.
Expertise in performance monitoring, tuning, and system configuration using SAP Best Practices.
Experience with system refreshes and restores for dual (ABAP+JAVA) and single stack systems.
Familiarity with SAP Business Suite and SAP HANA.
Experience in installing, configuring, and supporting SAP Solution Manager.
Exposure to upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and cloud environments is a plus.
Experience working in global delivery models with multicultural and cross-functional teams.
Willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment.

Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Awareness of latest technologies and industry trends.
Capability to assess current processes and suggest improvements.
Domain knowledge in one or two industry verticals.
SAP Certification is an added advantage.
