Job Description

Role:

The SAP Ariba Specialist is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Ariba solutions to drive efficient and compliant procurement processes. This role focuses on supplier management, system integration with enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, and enhancement of sourcing and procurement workflows within the organization. Key responsibilities include module configuration, user training, system optimization, and collaboration across teams to achieve strategic procurement objectives.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba implementation and support.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and best practices.
  • Experience in integrating SAP Ariba with other ERP systems (such as SAP S/4HANA or ECC).
  • SAP Ariba certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with compliance, audit, and process documentation standards in supply chain environments.
  • Effective communication and user training skills.
Essential Skills:
  • Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP Ariba modules for sourcing, contract management, supplier lifecycle, buying, and invoice management.
  • Experience in ERP integration and data analysis, as well as process automation through Ariba system features.
  • Strong skills in supplier and catalog management within Ariba.
  • Troubleshooting technical and functional issues and delivering system enhancements.
  • Monitoring and auditing procurement processes for compliance and data integrity.
  • Functional/Process Skills :

  • Comprehensive understanding of strategic sourcing, procurement best practices, and supplier relationship management.
  • Capacity to lead or support process improvement initiatives and facilitate workshops for business process transformation.
  • Documentation, reporting, and business case development.
  • End-user training, mentoring, and onboarding for new Ariba solutions.
Soft Skills:
  • Clear and professional communication, especially for system demos and training sessions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams under dynamic and evolving environments.
  • Project management, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building expertise.
  • Attention to detail, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
  • Experience with SAP Ariba Business Network and advanced integration scenarios.
  • Knowledge of process transformation methodologies and enterprise solution architecture.
  • Experience working in consulting environments or leading implementation teams
