SAP ABAP

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting technical solutions within SAP as a SAP ABAP Consultant. Your role will involve hands-on experience in custom development using ABAP, a solid understanding of SAP modules, and the ability to collaborate with functional consultants to deliver scalable SAP solutions. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom ABAP programs based on business requirements. You will work with Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF) while also developing and maintaining ALV Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, BDC, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Enhancements. Collaboration with functional teams such as MM, SD, FI, PP, etc., for technical development will be crucial. You will analyze functional specs and create technical specifications (TSD), debug and troubleshoot issues in custom objects or standard SAP programs, participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization, support data migration tasks using BDC, LSMW, or custom programs, and perform unit testing while assisting with integration/UAT as needed. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field along with 4-8 years of hands-on ABAP development experience. Strong knowledge of core ABAP and object-oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP), experience with SAP enhancement techniques (User exits, BADI, enhancement points), good understanding of Data Dictionary objects (Tables, Views, Structures, etc.), exposure to Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and ALV Reporting, basic knowledge of function module integration (BAPIs, RFCs), and familiarity with debugging and performance tuning tools are essential skills and qualifications for this position.,
