Description
As a SAP ABAP Senior Consultant at EY Technology Consulting, you will be part of a team delivering to clients across regions in various sectors. Your primary responsibilities and accountabilities will include: - Leading teams in the technical development and/or support track for SAP engagements - Holding sessions with end users and/or functional consultants to gather business requirements for technical development - Delivering technical design based on the business requirements - Developing technical design documents based on functional design documents - Pursuing prescribed coding standards during development work - Preparing quality deliverables as per designated project timelines - Assisting business user during design/FUTs/UATs - Preparing unit test cases for technical components - Conducting trainings - Supporting end users in resolving reported incidents within prescribed SLA for support engagements - Working in shifts to support client support engagements - Collaborating with offshore, client, and onsite teams as part of the project - Being willing to travel onsite on a short term or long term basis as needed - Supporting Project Management Office (PMO) - Acting as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting issues faced during implementation and/or support - investigating, analyzing, and solving software problems Your experience should include: - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience working in SAP ABAP - Working in at least 3 full life cycle implementations - Experience in SAP modules such as SD, PS, PP, HR (PY, OM, PA, TM), FI (FM, BCS), MM (PR, AP, IM) and PS, APO modules - Experience in an onsite-offshore delivery model and CMMI environment would be a plus Mandatory Technical Skills: - Good in ABAP Programming with experience in RICEFW development - Knowledge in OOPS, BAPI, SAP notes implementation, and code push down approach - Working knowledge in AS-ABAP on HANA - Sound knowledge of User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, new enhancement framework - Practical Knowledge of ABAP development toolkit, ADT - Experience in oData, CDS, and AMDP - Module pool programming, adobe form, and smart form - Hands-on experience in Adobe forms, Web services, Proxies - SAP-ABAP Workflow/Flexible Additional / Nice to have: - Mobility, BTP, SAP data migration tools, SAP GATEWAY - Experience in SPDD/SPAU conflict resolution, Technical Upgrade Experience, ABAP Certification, CRM technical / SAP HANA / Mobility / PI-PO /Web-dynpro Competencies / Skills: - Good communication skills - Team leadership experience - Self-motivation and result-oriented - Analytical and problem-solving skills Working at EY offers you the opportunity to work on inspiring and meaningful projects, with a focus on education and coaching alongside practical experience for personal development.
