About the role

Design robust ABAP solutions—reports, interfaces, and forms—that power core government processes at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Develop custom ABAP (Reports/ALV, Dialog/BDC) and enhancements (User-Exits, BAdIs).
• Build & maintain integrations via ALE/IDocs/Web Services.
• Debug, optimize performance, and support UAT and production fixes.
• Create & maintain technical specs, code docs, and release notes.
• Partner with functional consultants to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Stay current with S/4HANA and modern ABAP practices; recommend improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related (4-year).
• 4–6 years hands-on ABAP development.
• Expertise in SAP Script, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.
• Strong analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Preferred:

  S/4HANA and Fiori/UI5 exposure; relevant SAP ABAP certifications.
