SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to support our SAP ECC 6.0 EHP7 HR module, which consists of approximately 80% custom-built transactions. The ideal candidate should be capable of bug fixing, enhancement, and end-to-end development of new custom modules based on business requirements. This role demands hands-on experience in core ABAP programming, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of HR processes in SAP. Key Responsibilities: Debug and fix issues in existing custom HR transactions and reports. Develop new custom modules, reports, and interfaces as per functional specifications. Enhance existing custom applications and workflows based on change requests. Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements. Ensure performance tuning, code optimization, and adherence to best practices. Manage transports and perform unit testing before release. Document all developments, changes, and enhancements clearly. Technical Skills Required: Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, User Exits). Experience working on SAP HR module (Personal Administration, Organisational Management, Training and Event Management, personal Development). Knowledge of custom infotypes, HR logical databases (PNP/PAP), and HR macros. Ability to debug and troubleshoot custom programs efficiently. Familiarity with SAPScripts/SmartForms and Adobe Forms.
