SAP ABAP and HANA Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  custom ABAP programs

  , reports, forms, and interfaces within SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Develop and optimize

  Adobe Forms

  for custom print layouts and documents.
• Work with

  IDocs

  for data exchange between SAP systems and external systems.
• Develop and integrate

  Web Services

  for communication between SAP and external applications.
• Design and implement

  Module Pool

  programs for SAP GUI-based custom applications.
• Leverage

  SAP HANA

  capabilities to optimize ABAP code for better performance, focusing on

  HANA database

  optimizations and

  CDS views

  .
• Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues related to SAP ABAP and HANA integration.
  
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  
• Work with SAP Fiori applications and ensure smooth integration with ABAP backend solutions.
  
• Provide support for testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining ABAP programs and HANA-based applications.
  
• Document all development work and provide knowledge transfer to team members and end-users.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience with

  SAP ABAP

  development, including custom reports, forms (Adobe Forms, SmartForms), and interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with

  IDocs

  for electronic data interchange (EDI) between SAP systems and third-party applications.
• Strong experience in

  Web Services

  development and integration, including SOAP and REST-based web services.
• Expertise in

  Module Pool Programming

  to create custom SAP GUI-based applications.
• Solid knowledge of

  SAP HANA

  , including the use of

  CDS views

  , performance tuning, and database optimization techniques.
• Strong knowledge of

  OO-ABAP

  (Object-Oriented ABAP) and modern ABAP development practices.
• Experience with

  SAP S/4HANA

  and

  SAP Fiori

  is a plus.
• Familiarity with

  SAP NetWeaver Gateway

  for integrating SAP systems with external systems.
• Proficiency in debugging and resolving complex technical issues in SAP ABAP and HANA environments.
  
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with business users.
