San Storage Engineer- L3 Level

Role Overview: You will be joining Hitachi Vantara as a Storage Specialist (L3 Support) in the HV Services function at BKC, Mumbai. As part of a global team, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end infrastructure solutions across block, file, and object storage platforms. Your responsibilities will include providing L3-level support for SAN Storage environments, leading storage solution design, and managing daily storage operations. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, design, implement, and manage end-to-end infrastructure solutions across block, file, and object storage platforms. - Provide L3-level support for SAN Storage environments, including replication management (minimum 3 years of hands-on experience). - Develop and maintain Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and translate them into detailed implementation and deployment plans. - Design and implement 2DC and 3DC storage architectures with a strong understanding of replication topologies. - Perform block-based data migrations using tools such as UVM, NDM, or similar utilities. - Manage and execute file-based data migrations across heterogeneous environments. - Configure and support director-class fabric networks (Cisco, Broadcom/Brocade). - Oversee daily storage operations across block, file, and object storage systems. - Implement and manage replication technologies such as remote replication, in-system replication, snapshots, and clones. Qualification Required: - 8-12 years of experience in the enterprise storage domain. - Minimum 3 years of L3-level SAN support experience (replication-mandatory). - Proven expertise in storage solution design, migration, and operations. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex storage environments. - Excellent documentation and communication abilities. - Engineering degree preferred.
