Job Description

As a Software Asset Analyst at Getronics, your primary responsibility is to ensure effective management and maintenance of customer software assets within the license management tool. Your role plays a crucial part in reducing or mitigating financial or compliance risks for the customers. This position may involve client interaction and occasional business travel. **Key Responsibilities:** - Maintain customer license information within SNOW license manager. - Manage customer proof of entitlement information within SNOW license manager. - Develop and maintain customer-specific dashboards (SNOWBoards). - Act upon alerts generated by SNOW License manager. - Take ownership of customer inquiries related to their SAM service or software asset management. - Maintain process and procedural documentation. - Stay updated with vendor license management processes and techniques. - Assist in SNOW deployments to new customers. - Conduct periodic internal deployment vs entitlement reviews. - Become a subject matter expert on software licensing to support customer and internal requests. **Qualifications Required:** - 2-4 years of IT industry experience required (ITIL experience preferred). - At least 1 year SAM and licensing experience preferred. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to adhere to governance standards and processes. - Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. - IT knowledge (broad rather than deep) of IT systems and technology. - Data analysis experience and a strong understanding of Excel. - Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications. - Proven customer support experience in a large global IT service support environment. - Understanding of Service Now solution, especially in relation to asset and configuration management. - Familiarity with Service Level Agreements and their application. - Experience and a strong understanding of ITIL incident, problem, and configuration management is preferred. - Experience in software asset management would be beneficial. - Excellent customer service skills and the ability to listen and understand customer requirements, including stakeholder management.,
