Salon Manager – Job Description - FEMALE CANDIDATES ONLY

Role Overview

We’re looking for a confident, people‑oriented leader to run the day‑to‑day operations of our busy salon. You’ll be the face of the business, ensuring our clients get top‑notch service while keeping the team motivated and the books in order.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise stylists, receptionists, and junior staff; schedule shifts and manage attendance.

- Handle client inquiries, bookings, and resolve any complaints with a smile.

- Keep the salon clean, stocked, and compliant with health‑safety regulations.

- Manage inventory, order supplies, and track sales to hit monthly targets.

- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports; oversee cash handling and petty cash.

- Lead marketing efforts – social‑media posts, promotions, and loyalty programs.

- Train new hires on service standards, product knowledge, and salon policies.

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 2 years experience managing a salon or similar customer‑service environment.

- Strong knowledge of hair‑care products and current trends is a plus.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you love making people feel great.

- Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable with basic bookkeeping or POS systems.

- Flexible schedule – able to work evenings or weekends when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma or certification in salon management, business administration, or related field.

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
