Salon Assistant

Key responsibilities

• Operations and Management: Supervise day-to-day salon operations, ensure a clean and organized environment, and monitor stock levels, ordering products and supplies as needed.
• Staff Management: Create staff work schedules, assist with hiring and training, and maintain records.
• Customer Service: Greet clients, handle inquiries and complaints, build relationships, and ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Marketing and Promotion: Advertise services, run promotions, and use social media to attract new clients.
• Financial Management: Track payments, manage cash register, and prepare financial reports.

Required skills and qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a salon executive or in a similar supervisory role.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of beauty treatments and products.
• Leadership and Management: Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with grace.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Financial Acumen: Basic bookkeeping and cash handling skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in necessary software like Microsoft Office.
