Sales/Marketing Manager

Job description:

Location: Bangalore – Residential Office
Department: Sales & MarketingReporting To: Head Office (MD) (HO – Chennai or as applicable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and field-oriented Sales Engineer based in Bangalore to handle sales, marketing, and payment collection for our industrial products/services. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth payment recovery from clients in Karnataka and nearby regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and approach potential clients (industries, contractors, builders, etc.)
• Promote company products/services through field visits, calls, and online leads
• Conduct site visits and give product demos or technical explanations
• Submit quotations, follow up on orders, and convert leads into sales
• Maintain and grow existing client base

Marketing Support

• Execute local marketing activities such as product display, participation in trade shows, or digital promotions
• Gather market intelligence and competitor analysis

Payment Collection & Account Coordination

• Ensure timely follow-up with clients for payment collection
• Maintain payment records, invoice follow-ups, and report outstanding balances
• Coordinate with accounts team for receipts and documentation

Reporting & Travel

• Submit daily/weekly reports to the head office.
• Regular travel within Bangalore and nearby industrial areas

Candidate Profile:

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Marketing
• 1–5 years of experience in field sales (preferably B2B / Industrial)
• Resident of Bangalore (local candidates only)
• Should own a two-wheeler with valid license
• Good communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
• Proficient in MS Office, email, and WhatsApp business communication

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹60,000/month (based on experience)
