Job Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Ambattur, Chennai
Department: Accounts & Finance
Reporting To: Accounts Manager / General Manager – Finance

Job Purpose:

To ensure accurate and timely management of all financial transactions, accounting records, statutory compliance, and reporting in alignment with the organization's financial policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Bookkeeping:
• Maintain day-to-day accounting records (vouchers, ledgers, bank entries).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, cash and bank transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Billing & Invoicing:
• Generate and track invoices for member companies, suppliers, and vendors.
• Monitor dues and follow up for payments.
• Taxation & Compliance:
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Maintain records for audit and taxation purposes.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
• Payroll Support:
• Assist in preparing salary statements and ensure statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS) are processed.
• Budgeting & Reporting:
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets.
• Provide MIS reports to management on a regular basis.
• Coordination:
• Liaise with banks, vendors, auditors, and internal departments as required.
• Support in managing financial documentation for AIEMA-led initiatives, events, or government projects.

Required Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / ICWA Inter
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting standards
• Familiar with GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations

• Knowledge of industrial associations or manufacturing environments (preferred)

Compensation:

As per industry standards and candidate experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
