Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios for Salesforce applications.
• Perform manual and automation testing of Salesforce platform components including Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, Flows, and Process Builders.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data for Salesforce functionality.
• Validate integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems via APIs, middleware, or batch jobs.
• Perform functional, regression, UI, and smoke testing across Salesforce orgs (Sandbox, UAT, Production).
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in Agile/Scrum teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Log, track, and retest defects in tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Participate in release management and deployment testing activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of QA experience with at least 3 years in Salesforce testing.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, data model, and features (Sales/Service Cloud).
• Experience in validating configurations, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, and profiles.
• Proficiency in writing SOQL queries to validate data.
• Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, Provar, or Tosca for Salesforce automation (preferred).
• Experience working in Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or HP ALM.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have:

• Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, etc.)
• Experience in testing CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Communities/Experience Cloud.
• Basic knowledge of Apex and Lightning components for white-box testing.
