Role Overview:

Salesforce QA Tester

Key Responsibilities:

Perform
functional, regression, and integration testing
on Salesforce applications.
Validate
custom objects, workflows, triggers, and Lightning components
.
Develop and execute
test cases, test scripts, and test plans
based on business requirements.
Conduct
API testing
using tools like Postman or REST-assured.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Use
SOQL/SOSL
to validate data and perform backend testing.
Log and track defects using tools like
JIRA
or
HP ALM
.
Participate in
Agile ceremonies
and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Support
CI/CD pipelines
by integrating automated tests.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in
Salesforce testing
(Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
Hands-on experience with
Selenium
,
Provar
, or other automation tools.
Knowledge of
Apex
,
LWC
, and Salesforce data model.
Proficiency in
SOQL/SOSL
and understanding of Salesforce APIs.
Experience with
API testing tools
(e.g., Postman).
Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum methodologies
.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce certifications (e.g.,
Salesforce Certified Administrator
,
Platform App Builder
).
Experience with
CI/CD tools
like Git, Jenkins, or GitLab.
Exposure to
TestComplete

UFT
, or other enterprise testing tools.
