Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, user stories, and process flows for Salesforce initiatives.
  • Translate functional requirements into robust Salesforce solutions using a mix of declarative configuration (objects, fields, flows, validation rules, page layouts, record types) and custom development where needed.
  • Configure and enhance Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and, where applicable, Experience/Community Cloud to support sales, service, and customer engagement processes.
  • Design and implement custom components using Apex, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations with external systems via APIs or middleware.
  • Collaborate with architects and integration/data teams on solution design, data modelling, integration patterns, and performance/security best practices.
  • Support and sometimes lead endtoend project lifecycle activities: estimation, design, build, SIT/UAT support, deployments, and postgolive stabilization.
  • Prepare and review technical and functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and deployment/runbook artefacts.
  • Define test scenarios, support test script creation, drive defect triage, and ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria and quality standards.
  • Support or execute data migration activities including mapping, cleansing, validation, and data loads using Salesforce and ETL tools.
  • Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement enhancements and optimizations in existing Salesforce orgs.
  • Mentor junior team members, review their work, and promote adherence to coding, configuration, and documentation standards.
  • Contribute to Salesforce best practices, reusable assets, and adoption initiatives such as user training and enablement sessions.

Required experience and skills:

  • 3-5 years of handson experience in Salesforce projects in technofunctional roles (Admin + Developer/Consultant), including at least one endtoend implementation. (60% Technical and 40% functional will be perfect fit for this role)
  • Strong functional understanding of CRM processes such as leadtocash, opportunity management, case management, and service processes.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration: security model (profiles, permission sets, roles), workflows/flows, approval processes, reports and dashboards.
  • Solid technical skills in Apex classes/triggers, Lightning Web Components/Lightning Aura, SOQL/SOSL, and integration using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware.
  • Experience working with at least two of: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience/Community Cloud; exposure to CPQ or Conga Q2C is a plus.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum preferred), DevOps/CICD, and deployment tools (change sets, metadata/APIbased tools).
  • Proven experience in requirement workshops, solution walkthroughs, and stakeholder management in clientfacing environments.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, ability to work independently and lead small teams or workstreams.
