Design scalable, extensible, and reusable Lightning web components and Apex classes that meet performance, security, and governance standards. Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Data teams to translate business needs into technical designs. Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation, including test-driven development (TDD). Mentor and guide team members on development standards, code reviews, and technical innovations. Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce security and data sharing models, including permissions, sharing rules, and access controls. Monitor and optimize Salesforce platform performance, respecting platform governing limits. Support deployment activities using version control and CI/CD pipelines. Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends to continuously improve development practices. Foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment focused on sustainable and innovative solutions. Technical Skills (By Category) Programming Languages: Required: Apex, JavaScript Preferred: Visualforce, TypeScript Databases / Data Management: DML operations, SOQL, SOSL proficiency in querying and data manipulation Strong data modeling skills, Object and Object Relationship management Cloud Technologies: Salesforce Cloud platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Mobile Frameworks and Libraries: Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Design System Development Tools & Methodologies: Visual Studio Code, SFDX CLI, Git-based version control, Agile methodologies, TDD practices Security Protocols: Knowledge of Salesforce security model, sharing settings, permission sets, profiles, and sharing rules Experience Minimum of 10 + years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. Industry experience in the Financial Services sector is strongly desirable. Familiarity with Salesforce Communities setup and configuration is advantageous. Experience with integration tools like MuleSoft or AutoRabbit, and analytics tools such as Einstein, would be beneficial. Prior experience working in an Agile environment and practicing TDD. Day-to-Day Activities Develop, review, and optimize Salesforce applications, components, and automation processes. Conduct technical design sessions, code reviews, and mentor junior team members. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and provide updates. Prepare technical documentation, deployment plans, and test cases. Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues, ensuring compliance with Salesforce governor limits. Lead component and solution demonstrations for clients and internal teams. Maintain knowledge of latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices to improve project outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. Certifications preferredSalesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, Lightning Web Components Developer, and Cloud certifications relevant to the role. Hands-on training or continuous learning in Salesforce development practices. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies.
