Salesforce QA

Position Summary

We re looking for a detail-oriented Salesforce QA Engineer to own testing for Lightning Cloud implementation. You ll partner with developers, business analysts, and project managers to design and execute test plans, automate regression suites, and ensure a flawless user experience across custom Lightning components and declarative configurations.

• Test Planning & Design

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria for Lightning Cloud features.

  • Define test strategies, create detailed test cases (functional, regression, integration, UI) and maintain traceability matrices.
  
  
  
  

• Manual & Automated Testing

• 
  
  
  
  • Execute manual test scripts against Lightning pages, Apex controllers, and Flows.
  
  
  
  

• 
  
  
  
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Provar, or Salesforce s Apex testing framework.
  
  
  
  

• Defect Management

• 
  
  
  
  • Identify, log, and track defects in JIRA or a similar bug-tracking system.
  
  
  
  

• 
  
  
  
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and ensure timely resolution.
  
  
  
  

• Environment & Release Support

• 
  
  
  
  • Coordinate sandbox refreshes and ensure test data is available and valid.
  
  
  
  

• 
  
  
  
  • Participate in release planning, smoke testing, and post-go-live validation to maintain production stability.
  
  
  
  

• Quality Metrics & Reporting

• 
  
  
  
  • Measure test coverage, defect density, and cycle times to drive continuous improvement.

  • Provide clear, concise test status reports and risk assessments to project leadership.
  
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years testing Salesforce Lightning applications.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and declarative features (Flows, Process Builder, Custom Objects).

• Hands-on experience writing Apex test classes and SOQL queries.

• Proficiency in at least one test automation tool (Selenium, Provar, SFDX CLI tests, etc. ).

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Administrator and/or Platform Developer I certification.

• Experience with performance and load testing tools for Salesforce.

• Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or other DevOps tools.

• Exposure to security testing (OWASP, CRUD/FLS validation) in Salesforce.

• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs).
