As an experienced Software Quality Assurance & Testing professional with over 5 years of experience, you should have a good understanding of SDLC, STLC, ALM, and various software testing models and methodologies. Your experience in testing Salesforce CRM applications will be crucial for this role. Additionally, you should be proficient in creating automation test suites at scale using Worksoft Certify and have a strong knowledge of database testing. Familiarity with ALM and Jira for test management is required, and knowledge of load testing tools like JMeter/NeoLoad will be beneficial. Understanding of Apex is considered a plus. Your responsibilities will include researching, problem-solving, and working both independently and in a team environment. You will be expected to write test scripts for new functionality/enhancements, create positive and negative Test Scenarios, and perform Equivalence Partitioning and Boundary Value Analysis. Running Functional Test Cases, Regression Test suite, and Smoke Testing to ensure major functionalities are functioning as per requirement will be part of your routine tasks. You will need to work on understanding the application's functionality to create a functional map, manage and run automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, and establish effective communication with the development team. Furthermore, you will execute role-based test cases, perform compatibility tests with third-party applications, attend Defect Triage calls, and collaborate with the development team on managing test results and feedback. Detailed status reporting, metrics, and execution dashboards will be essential, along with technical troubleshooting of system defects and impact assessment. Your ability to support US CT overlap for Shift 2 (1:30 PM IST - 10:30 PM IST) will also be required.
