Description
We are in need of Salesforce Senior Field Service Lightning (FSL) Consultant to lead end-to-end solutioning, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce Field Service for enterprise customers. The ideal candidate is a hands-on expert in FSL, Apex development, integrations, and relevant Salesforce cloudsincluding Industry Cloud—and is capable of driving architectural decisions aligned with business priorities and long-term scalability.
This role requires strong functional and technical expertise, the ability to translate complex business processes into optimized Salesforce solutions, and the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
This is a senior position and the candidate should be willing to work in the afternoon shift 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce FSL solutions aligned with business requirements, industry best practices, and future scalability.
FSL Functional Leadership
Own the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce Field Service Lightning including:
Service Territories & Operating Hours
Work Types, Work Orders, Service Appointments
Scheduling Policies & Optimization
Mobile App
Inventory, Parts & Return Order processes
Drive field operations transformation initiatives using FSL capabilities.
Ensure compliance with SLAs, field processes, workforce management, and service KPIs.
Technical Delivery
Develop custom Salesforce Apex classes, triggers, LWC, batch processes, and integrations where required.
Work closely with integration teams to orchestrate seamless data flow between Salesforce and external systems (ERP, FSM, IoT, mobile apps, etc.).
Ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices, code quality standards, and scalable design principles.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the FSL application stack.
Required Skills & Experience
Core FSL Expertise
6+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning.
Deep understanding of FSL components: core engine, scheduling optimization, mobile, asset management, parts/inventory, service lifecycle.
Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale FSL architectures.
Strong proficiency in Apex (classes, triggers, batch, queueable, scheduled jobs), Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Streaming APIs, Mulesoft/Azure/GCP integrations, etc.).
Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Model, Security Model, and Governor Limits.
Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Copado, Azure DevOps, etc.) is a plus.
Experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, and industry-specific solutions.
Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, release cycles, and licensing considerations.
Ability to create high-quality solution designs, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
Strong requirement-gathering,
Capability to advise business stakeholders on process optimization and field-service digital transformation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.

Salesforce Certifications such as:
Field Service Consultant (highly preferred)
