Job Description

Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable

    Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL)

    solutions to support field operations.
  • Customize Salesforce using

    Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce

    .
  • Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Configure and manage

    service territories, work types, service appointments, skills, crews, and scheduling policies

    in FSL.
  • Implement and optimize

    Dispatcher Console

    features and mobile configurations for field technicians.
  • Integrate Salesforce Field Service with external systems using

    APIs and middleware tools

    .
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce Field Service issues, ensuring optimal platform performance and security.
  • Participate in all phases of the

    Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

    including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer or training as required.
  • Follow best practices related to

    version control, CI/CD, and DevOps

    in Salesforce development.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree (Graduate in any discipline).
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience

    , with at least

    2+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Field Service Lightning

    .
  • Minimum

    3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer

    .
  • Strong expertise in

    Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce integrations

    .
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce mobile configurations and offline capabilities.
  • Experience working with

    Field Service, Flosum, and Core Clouds

    .
  • Hands-on experience with

    Git, CI/CD tools, and Salesforce DevOps practices

    .
  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred)

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I – Mandatory

  • Platform Developer II, Service Cloud Consultant, or Field Service Lightning Consultant – Preferred

Nice to Have

  • Experience in complex enterprise Salesforce implementations.
  • Exposure to large-scale field service or service cloud projects.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.
